Each month, we recognise one of apprentices. Apprentices are nominated by their coach based off our apprentice values before a panel of judges select their winner.

We're proud to announce that Sydney Price at Major Players has been awarded Apprentice of the Month. Sydney was nominated by her coach Neda for her incredible use of the mandatory Business Administration final project to create something that will have real longevity in her company:

"Sydney is creating an incredible initiative for Major Players(opens new window) with her Final BA Project. She has got buy in from all senior stakeholders in her organisation to roll out a new internship scheme. Sydney has identified that there is a skills gap between those interested in design (including both school leavers and uni grads) who are trying to get their first role in the market. As part of her project, she has reached out to many of Major Player's clients to see if they are willing to take on entry-level candidates who apply to MP but need some upskilling first before being placed. Many are on board with this and excited to trial it in the new year. This is an incredible initiative that Sydney thought of herself and shows how much of a change maker she is, using this project opportunity as a platform to ignite social change and give back to the community."
