Physical, financial and mental wellbeing
Every Multiverser is offered private medical insurance with Bupa, so we’ve got your health covered. Medical history is disregarded and there is the option to add family members for an additional cost. Babylon Virtual GP is included in the cover, giving you access to unlimited GP consultations that are available 24/7. And we offer a cash-back scheme with Medicash, allowing you to claim money back on a variety of treatments, including dental care and physiotherapy.
To support financial wellbeing, we’ve partnered with YuLife to provide every employee with Life Insurance cover and we use Smart Pension as our pension provider. In addition to a competitive salary and bonus scheme, all permanent employees are issued Share Options, bringing to life our value ‘we are all owners’ and sharing our collective success.
And we’ve partnered with Spill to provide confidential and secure mental health support. Spill is accessible at any time through a Slack integration and employees can ask a therapist a question, have a one-off therapy session, browse content and tools, or receive a course of six therapy sessions. Additionally, with YuLife, everyone has access to mental health support, financial support, legal advice and bereavement counselling through an Employee Assistance Programme.
Becoming a parent is a wonderful experience and we’re always excited to welcome new members to our growing Multiverse family! We’re proud to offer enhanced parental leave policies, depending on length of service.
If an employee has been with us for at least 12 months, they qualify for our Enhanced Maternity Policy: 100% salary for 16 weeks, 50% salary for 8 weeks, Statutory Pay for 15 weeks.
If an employee has been with us for at least 12 months, they qualify for our Enhanced Paternity Policy: 100% salary for 4 weeks.
We appreciate how important it is for Multiverses to take time off throughout the year and that’s why we offer 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. 3 of these days are used in between Christmas and New Year for our December ‘Company Switch Off’ so that you don’t have to worry about coming back to lots of emails in the New Year!
Additionally, we offer 1 paid Life Event Day a year, this could be to celebrate your birthday, move house, get a puppy, or anything you like! And every Multiverser can take 1 paid Volunteer Day to support a cause of their choice.
We’ve embraced flexibility at Multiverse and we’re empowering everyone to make work, work for them. All employees are hired on either a hybrid weekly (1 day per week in the office) or hybrid monthly (1 day per month in the office) contract, meaning that we’re a remote-first organisation. But if you prefer to work in an office environment, you can come in every day, it’s totally up to you!
