Multiverse announces second Sales Academy as a career route for high-potential talent

Starting in April 2022, 10 successful applicants will join a six-month paid internship with training and mentoring from our world-class sales leaders. It’s an incredible opportunity to kick-start a rewarding sales career.

About the Sales Academy

Our Sales Team is the engine powering our 350% year-on-year growth, allowing us to open up fulfilling careers for more and more people. They do this by developing our existing accounts and, more importantly, building a pipeline of exciting new ones.

Working from a world-class playbook, our Sales Team plans against targets before prospecting and qualifying new opportunities. For them, each deal is unique. Forging close relationships with organisations, they secure tailored apprenticeship partnerships that are transformative for employers and employees alike.

What we’re offering

Those in the Academy will also receive 1:1 coaching from sales leaders, such as Multiverse President Jeremy Duggan(opens new window), who has taken three other startups to billion-dollar valuations. These folks know what it takes to build a unicorn.

A proven success

In September 2021, we launched the first Sales Academy and it’s been a huge success. Sherwin Holder and Olivia Fabri, who are currently in the Academy, share their favourite things about it:

Our commitment to diversity

The sales industry has historically faced challenges with diversity. In fact, LinkedIn reports that only 39% of sales professionals are women(opens new window).

At Multiverse, we want to be different. And we are. Currently, 59% of our Go To Market team are women. While we’re very proud of this fact, we’re now working hard to ensure our team better reflects the communities we serve. With this in mind, we particularly welcome candidates from ethnic minority backgrounds to apply, as they are currently underrepresented in the Sales Team.

What we’re looking for

No sales experience is required for this entry level role. And there are no specific academic requirements.

Instead, we want to see potential. This may be demonstrated through your grades, or it might shine through in something else. Something like volunteering, sports or hobbies taken to a high level, challenges overcome, or even a side hustle made BIG. We’re looking for go-getters that always make the most of their talents.

The second cohort has 10 positions available and starts in April 2022.

Based in London

The internship will be based in London. There will be some working from home, some working from our office in Marylebone, and some visiting clients across London and beyond.
